My name is Katelyn Armstrong and I am the one-woman team behind Fine Grind Filters. I am a former Java Blend barista, and I have spent the last few years slinging coffee in one of the most influential coffee roasters in Nova Scotia.
I learned how to sew when I was 7 years old. I was taught by my Oma who was a trained seamstress and loved to have a project on the go! Up until recently I was the maker behind Moonbeam Creek, which took up-cycled fabrics (like t-shirts or dresses) and made them into high-waisted undies. I wanted to continue making and have my own business while combining my sewing and coffee world, thus creating the idea for Fine Grind Filters!
Thank you so much for checking out my website and supporting my little business! It has been very fun so far and I am really excited to see where this takes me.
